Cavity wall insulation testimonials

Domestic and General aim to provide top quality service and peerless installation work for all of our customers. Don’t just take our word for it though. Here is what some of our customers had to say about their journey with DGI.

“I just wanted to write to say how impressed I was with the service I have received from your company. We had cavity wall insulation installed in our property; the process was quick and easy and there was hardly any mess. The men who installed it were polite and efficient. However, two days later we noticed our extractor fan was not working in the kitchen.

“The same men returned to have a look and the motor had got blocked with the beads. Although this was not technically their fault it had happened, they spent time cleaning it all out and ensuring it was working. They even swept up the mess created and emptied my vacuum! I just wanted to write as it is so easy to just complain about things these days.

“We have recommended to others to have it done as it just seems to make sense long term, not only hopefully for our benefit (however we are waiting to see results with it) but also for the selling of the property as it is likely to become something that people expect in a house.”

“I first heard about Domestic and General after receiving a phone call from their telemarketing team. They booked me an appointment, and the surveyor who came to assess my property was very helpful, and informed me that as I am over 80 the installation would be free.

“The men who came to install my loft and cavity wall insulation were so nice and friendly, and the whole installation process was very quick and simple. I am sure I will feel the benefits of the work, as we have had some chilly days this July where I haven’t had to put the heat on. I would tell any friends thinking of having the same work fitted to go for it!”

“Cavity wall insulation work was carried out by Domestic and General Insulation on my house in May 2011. From the first visit by the surveyor to the completion everything was very professional. The operatives did an excellent job – at no inconvenience to me at all. They were friendly, polite and very efficient and everything was left very tidy.

“I was extremely impressed with the quality of the process. The benefit has certainly been felt – particularly in the winter months. To anyone considering cavity wall insulation I would have no hesitation in recommending Domestic & General to carry out the process.”

“I first heard about Domestic and General Insulation when I received a leaflet through my door. I arranged for a survey, and the surveyor who turned up was very knowledgeable and helpful. I decided to buy cavity wall insulation for my home as it seemed like a very good deal. The installation process was very efficient, and I have already recommended Domestic and General to friends of mine.”

“I would like to say how very pleased and grateful I am to have had cavity wall insulation installed into my property.

There was an advert in my local paper from Redditch Borough Council which illustrated the benefits of having cavity wall insulation fitted. A friend of mine told me to contact Domestic and General as she had her cavity wall insulation installed by you and that you are a reputable company.

I contacted Domestic and General and the surveyor Steve Watkiss was very helpful and reassuring with my questions, and also very accommodating with the dates and times to suit re: survey meeting and the paperwork to be signed etc.

The installation process went very well. The technicians Chris Powell and his colleague Matt were very efficient and thorough, and also very helpful and reassuring with my questions. A great job done!

I felt the benefit straight away, within 2 or 3 hours after the installation was done.

I would recommend Domestic and General’s cavity wall insulation to anyone and tell them the benefits they will receive from getting a warm house and save on energy bills, and knowing they will be getting a good job done. They will not be disappointed!”
