Our history and growth
Having started life as a company installing insulation, our name does not reflect everything we now offer. Our timeline shows just how our company and product offering has grown.
1986 - Company was formed
1993 - Moved to Hereford and joined forces with Sealed Heat
1997 – Domestic and General ownership changed through a management buy-in
1999 – Heating added to the list of services
2003 - Solar Water Heating was introduced
2004 – Approved to install Oil Fired Central Heating
2005 – Opened Worcester sales office
2005 – Launched our manufacturing division and opened our bead plant in Worcester
2005 – Our turnover reached £10m
2006 - The company won support to promote the only national programme able to offer the exclusive 20 per cent more efficient carbon saver bead
2006 – Directorship extends to include a Sales Director, HR Director and Installations Director
2007 - Company achieved 1,000 new customers per week as an average client base
2008 – Home improvements was added to the list of services
2008 – Company reached £20m turnover
2009 – Expansion into Bristol with a new depot, totalling 5 depots and 2 office sites
2010 – Our 150,000th cavity wall insulation job was completed
2011 – Today we employ around 380 staff and have a turnover of £23million
