Domestic and General are able to install, in some cases, blown glass mineral wool insulation for cavity walls. This is generally used in instances where a bonded bead material is considered unsuitable, or the client specifically requests the use of wool insulation over the other options offered.

We install a wool insulation known as Supafil, which is produced by Knauf Insulation. The material is approved by the BBA and can be both retro-fitted and installed into new builds. The material is moisture resistant and easy to install as it is blown into the cavity.

Domestic and General Insulation are approved installers of the Supafil cavity wall insulation material and any install comes with a 25 year guarantee from the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency.
